Anthropic Introduces Claude AI India Pricing: Check Price For Pro, Max, And Team Subscription

US based AI giant Anthropic has rolled out India-specific pricing for its Claude AI subscriptions. This will allow users to pay Indian users in Indian rupees rather than US Dollars. The move removes the need for foreign currency payments and additional forex charges, with all listed prices now inclusive of GST.

The update is available to Claude Pro, Claude Max, and Claude Team plans, whereas the free version of the AI remains available in India.

Claude AI Pro India Pricing

The Claude Pro plan is now available at Rs 2,000 per month with annual billing which calculates to Rs 24,000 per year. The company also offers a monthly plan of Rs 2,399.

The Pro version of the Claude offers access to Anthropic’s Sonnet 5 model by default, along with additional models consisting of Opus, and Fable 5. Subscribers also receive up to five times higher usage limit compared to free plan, Research mode, unlimited Projects, Memory, web search, file uploads, voice modes, Claude Code, Claude Design, Microsoft 365 integration, and support for Excel and PowerPoint.

The free plan is still available for the users offering access to Sonnet 5, Sonnet 4.6, and Haiku 4.5 with web search, limited Projects, and uploads of up to 20 files per chat.

Claude AI Max India Pricing

For users who need higher usage limit, the company has introduced two Claude Max tiers in India. The Claude Max 5x is priced at Rs 11.999 per month whereas the Claude Max 20x plan is priced at Rs 23,999 per month.

Both the high tier plans consist of the same features available with Claude Pro, consisting of access to the same AI models, Claude Code, Cowork, Memory, Projects, and web search. The difference between lies in the larger usage allowance. The Max subscriber also gets priority access during the peak demand, longer Claude code session, and early access to new models and features.

Claude AI Team India Pricing

The company has also rolled out India-specific pricing for businesses and team. The Claude Team Standard is priced at Rs 2,399 per user per month if billed annually while monthly billing costs Rs 2,999. The Team Premium plan is rolled out at Rs 11,999 per user per month if billed annually, otherwise it costs Rs 14,999 per user per month.
