Antony Starr shared a post on Instagram from the filming of The Boys Season 5, in which the actor appeared visibly frustrated by the long shooting schedule. In the first video of the carousel, Jensen Ackles, who plays Soldier Boy in the series, can be seen holding the camera.

The clip was filmed during production for Episode 6, where Homelander finally acquires the V1 with Soldier Boy’s help.

Ackles then turned the camera toward Starr. He asked him, “How do you feel, buddy?” Starr responded by shaking his head while wearing an exhausted expression. Ackles then pointed the camera toward the sky to show that dawn was breaking. He added that it was 5 a.m. and that filming had been ongoing since 5 p.m. Starr appeared visibly tired from the overnight shoot. Meanwhile, Ackles seemed to remain in a lighter mood than his on-screen son.

The video quickly drew reactions from fans of the show, many of whom responded with Homelander-themed memes and GIFs in the comments section. “Long day. At least it paid off. You found it,” one user wrote, referencing the V1 shown in the latest episode. Another user added, “He’s Homelander, he can feel however the f**k he wants.”

With only two episodes remaining in the final season of The Boys, anticipation among fans continues to build. Episode 6 also featured several major developments that are expected to affect the direction of the remaining episodes.

The first six episodes of The Boys Season 5 are currently streaming on Prime Video.
