Last month i.e. November 2025 Maruti Suzuki Dzire became the best selling sedan in the country. A total of 21,082 units of Maruti Dzire were purchased last month. During this period, Maruti Dzire sales grew by 78.98 percent on a year-on-year basis. Based on these sales, the Maruti Dzire alone captured over 60.17 percent market share in the segment.

Maruti Suzuki Dzire is known among the customers for its affordable price and excellent mileage. Its ex-showroom price starts at Rs 6.25 lakh and goes up to Rs 9.31 lakh. In terms of mileage, the petrol variant of the Dzire returns an estimated mileage of 22 to 23 kmpl. While in the CNG version this figure goes up to around 31 km/kg.

Which other car beat the sales?
Hyundai Aura is second in this sales list. The Hyundai Aura sold a total of 5,731 units during the period, a year-on-year growth of 34.91 percent. Honda Amaze is third in the sales list. Honda Amaze sold a total of 2,763 units last month, registering a year-on-year growth of 5.14 percent. The Volkswagen Virtus ranked fourth on the sales list, registering a year-on-year growth of 52.71 percent, registering a total of 2,225 units.

Skoda Octavia sold 94 units
On the other hand, the Tata Tigor sold a total of 488 units, i.e. a decline of 43.19 percent year-on-year. Toyota came ninth in Camry sales, registering a growth of 70.77 percent on a year-on-year basis with a total of 222 units sold. Moreover, Skoda Octavia is ranked tenth in sales, last month Skoda Octavia received only 94 new customers.
