Apple’s big bang: Creator Studio subscription launched, studio-grade power will now be in the hands of every creator
New Delhi:Tech giant Apple has taken a big step for content creators, giving further edge to its services strategy. The company has launched a new subscription package called Creator Studio, which has been specially designed keeping in mind the needs of content creators, students and professionals.
By offering multiple professional creative tools and advanced AI features in a single subscription, Apple has clearly indicated that its focus is no longer limited to just hardware. The company is moving rapidly towards strengthening the recurring revenue model.
Many professional tools in one subscription
Apple Creator Studio has been offered at a price of $ 12.99 per month or $ 129 annually. Apple’s most popular creative software Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro and Pixelmator Pro are included in this one package. The special thing is that all these tools will work on both Mac and iPad platforms, so that users will not need to take separate subscriptions. Apple’s aim is to make creative workflows easier and more affordable.
Video and music tools equipped with AI
New AI features like transcript-based search, visual search and beat detection have now been added to Final Cut Pro. With their help, video editing will become faster and smarter than before. At the same time, AI-powered tools like Synth Player and Chord ID have been included in Logic Pro, which will make the process of music creation simple and effective. Apple is now making AI an important part of the creative process.
Pixelmator Pro comes on iPad for the first time
Pixelmator Pro, known as Apple’s Photoshop-alternative, is being made available on iPad for the first time. This app will support Apple Pencil, which will make the experience of designing and photo editing even better. With this move, iPad users will also get pro-level design tools, which till now were limited only to Mac users.
Apple’s services strategy gets new strength
Over the past few years, Apple has maintained stable earnings through services like Apple Music and iCloud. Creator Studio is being considered as the next big step in this strategy. This new subscription will be available on the App Store from January 28 and will help Apple generate continued revenue amid slow hardware sales.
