Apple’s new AI glasses will come with unique design and new camera, know the features
Desk: Once again a big change is about to come in the tech world, because Apple is working on its new AI smart glasses. This device will not be just a spectacle but a gadget to make everyday life smart. According to reports, the company is adding new design, powerful camera and AI features to it. The special thing is that it will directly compete with Meta’s smart glasses. This can set a new trend of wearable tech in the coming times.
According to a report by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is testing at least four different frame designs for its smart glasses. These include rectangular and oval shapes, and the size and thickness are also being changed to keep in mind the preferences of different users. The company is also working on color options like black, ocean blue and light brown. The special thing is that acetate material will be used in these frames, which is considered stronger and more durable than common plastic. Apple’s focus here is not only on technology but also on premium look and long-term use.
The camera design in this new device may be completely different. Apple is working on a vertical oval shaped camera module, around which lights will also be provided. This design will be different from the existing Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, which have a circular camera. This camera will be capable of capturing photos and videos and will allow editing and sharing by connecting directly to the iPhone. Apart from this, features like calling, notification, music and voice interaction will be available in it. AI based Siri will also be upgraded, so that it can understand the situation around the user and give better answers.
This product of Apple will be a part of its ecosystem strategy, where deep integration will be seen with the iPhone. The company is developing this product completely in-house so that complete control can be maintained over the design and user experience. While Meta has already made a strong hold in this segment, but Apple wants to differentiate itself through better build quality and software. According to the report, these smart glasses may be announced in late 2026 or early 2027, while market availability may be seen after 2027.
