Apple’s new bet is going to break all the price records, the netizens are in tears after hearing the price of the iPhone Fold!

Tech giant Apple is going to make a big splash in the smartphone world. If all goes well, Apple’s two most awaited flagship devices, the iPhone 18 Pro and the first foldable iPhone in Apple’s history, which is likely to be called the iPhone Ultra, are going to hit the market in just a couple of months. In the global memory chip shortage and the economic recession, the high prices of these two premium phones are now being discussed.

Apple’s first foldable iPhone will essentially have a book-like design, slightly wider than the Pixel Fold when folded but quite compact. This phone has a 5.5-inch outer display and when the fold is opened, a huge 7.8-inch inner display can be seen.

Due to space limitations on the phone, ‘Touch ID’ may return to the side button instead of Face ID. The biggest surprise is in its software. The first foldable iPhone is going to be the most expensive phone in Apple’s history, priced around $2,000 to $2,500, or around $2 lakh.

On the other hand, while foldable phones are in the limelight, traditional premium users will have their main focus on the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max models. While the exterior design hasn’t changed much, the internal hardware has been upgraded. It uses LTPO+ technology display and Apple’s own next-generation A20 processor for improved battery life. The series can come with a frosted ceramic shield back panel in attractive color options like Light Blue, Dark Cherry and Dark Grey.

But as much as the features of the new iPhone are pleasing, its price graph is just as much frowned upon by us. Apple CEO Tim Cook himself has hinted at price hikes as the global memory chip crisis drags on for another year. Apple may raise the price of their premium Pro-series by at least $100. It remains to be seen how successful Apple’s two bets are in the midst of high prices and economic uncertainty in the global market.
