Rajasthan Ptet 2026: B.Ed in Rajasthan There is good news for students wishing to enroll in the course. The application process for Rajasthan Pre-Teacher Education Test (PTET) 2026 has started. When and where did the application process start?
Online registration for PTET 2026 has started from 20 February 2026 on the official website of Vardhaman Mahavir Open University (VMOU), Kota. Mainly 2-year B.Ed. Applications are being made for the course. Last date of application is 20 March 2026. Therefore, interested candidates should apply as soon as possible.
What are the eligibility criteria?
2-Year B.Ed. For this, the candidate must have completed Graduate or Post Graduate degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks (for general category). Minimum 45% marks are required for SC, ST, OBC, EBC, Divyang, Widow etc. categories.
Under the National Education Policy 2020, those with 4-year bachelor’s degree can also apply. 4-Year Integrated B.Ed. Must have passed 10+2 class with at least 50% marks from Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, Ajmer or equivalent board. For reserved categories, 45% marks are sufficient.
Exam Pattern and Marks Division
PTET exam is of total 600 marks and its time limit is 3 hours. It is completely based on multiple choice questions (MCQ). There are four main sections in the paper, 50-50 questions are given in all. There are total 200 questions.

- General Awareness
- Language Proficiency
You get 3 marks for each correct answer. This examination tests the candidate’s interest in teaching, thinking ability and general knowledge.
How to apply?
Register on the official portal. Fill personal and educational information correctly. Upload scanned photograph, signature and left thumb impression (each less than 100 KB in size). The application fee is ₹500, which can be deposited through net banking, credit/debit card or UPI. After submitting the form, download and print the confirmation page as it will be useful in further counselling.
