AQI crosses 450 in Delhi, all schools closed except 10th and 12th; CM Atishi announced

GRAP-4 restrictions have been imposed amid increasing pollution in the capital Delhi. Meanwhile, all schools except classes 10th and 12th have been closed in Delhi. Chief Minister Atishi has announced that with the implementation of GRAP-4 from Monday, physical classes will remain closed for all students except classes 10th and 12th. Also, all schools will conduct classes in online mode till further orders.

CM Atishi announced

AQI had reached 500 in Delhi on Sunday. After this, CAQM announced the implementation of Grape-4 ban from Monday. Along with this, it was recommended to the governments to close schools in Delhi-NCR. After implementation of Group-4, Delhi government decided to close all the schools. However, in view of the board examinations, students of class 10th and 12th will be called to school. Apart from this, online classes will be conducted for all the remaining students. CM Atishi announced this by posting on Instagram.

After the implementation of GRAP-4, many strict steps will be taken by the government to control pollution. In this phase, strict restrictions will be imposed on factories, construction work and traffic so that pollution can be controlled.
