Recently, in an interview given to Zoom, Chhaava’s writer Rishi Virmani hit back at the claims that his film was said to spread hatred. He said- ‘It is very difficult to believe that just a few hours of screen time can change the entire ideology or thinking of a person. The audience itself is very intelligent and has its own independent thinking. At the same time, Rishi expressed happiness over the fact that the kind of response the audience has given to ‘Chhava’, he has not seen such engagement for any film in a long time.
