The injured youth has been identified as 25-year-old Sujit Kumar alias Golu Kumar, a resident of Baligaon in Ayer police station area. He is the son of Santosh Singh. He has been admitted to a private hospital located at Babu Bazaar in Arrah city, where according to doctors, his condition is critical. The bullet hit the young man’s right hand and passed through his chest and passed through his back, causing serious injuries to his lungs and ribs. Doctors have advised operation after doing CT scan.

Illegal relationship is the reason for the incident

Preliminary investigation has revealed that the reason for the firing was an ongoing dispute over illicit relations. Golu Kumar’s wife allegedly had an illicit relationship with a young man, due to which there had been many arguments between Golu and his wife’s lover. On Saturday evening, when Golu reached the Shraddha ceremony in Bhakura village, he met his wife’s lover Hariom, after which an altercation started between the two. Meanwhile, the accused opened fire on Golu and fled away.

Police engaged in investigation

Mufassil police station is busy investigating the case. Police station in-charge Deepak Kumar reached the spot and started investigation, while DSP Raj Kumar also went to the hospital and investigated the incident. The police is conducting raids in search of the accused and is expected to arrest him soon.

33 accused arrested

Along with this, 33 accused have been arrested in the raid operation on the instructions of SP Raj, in which there are other serious charges including attempt to murder, SC-ST Act, attack on police. 76 liters of country liquor and 281 liters of English liquor were also recovered in the raid. Besides, 69 warrants have also been executed.
