Sachin Tendulkar and his daughter Sara wished Arjun on his 25th birthday. The son of Sachin turned 25 on September 24. Sara shared a couple of pictures with her brother. “Happy 25th birthday to the baby of the house and centre of our universe. Love you and always proud of you,” she wrote.
Arjun, who now plays for Goa in domestic cricket, played a crucial role in his team’s victory over KSCA XI in the Dr (Capt) K Thimmappiah Memorial Tournament. He took nine wickets across both innings as Goa won the contest by an innings and 96 runs.
Sachin took to social media to wish his all-rounder son.
“Happy birthday to my fantastic son, Arjun! Your love for life and relentless dedication inspire me every day. Watching you hit the gym first thing this morning just shows your incredible work ethic. Proud of you always! Here’s to another year of chasing your dreams,” he wrote on X.
In the 2023-24 Ranji Trophy, Arjun amassed 258 runs in 11 innings at an average of 23.45, with only two fifties. He took nine wickets at an average of 44.66.
In the Vijay Hazare Trophy, he managed 37 runs from five innings while dismissing 10 batters.
However, he performed well in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, picking up 11 wickets in 7 games at an average of 23.81.
Arjun made his debut for Mumbai Indians in IPL 2023. In five matches for MI, he has taken three wickets and scored 13 runs.
