Delhi: Arjun Tendulkar, son of great Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar, is playing for Goa in the current Vijay Hazare Trophy. In his very first match of the tournament, Arjun bowled brilliantly and took three wickets against Odisha. With this, Arjun also made a special achievement in his name, which will make his father Sachin Tendulkar feel proud.

In this match against Odisha, Arjun completed his 50 wickets in white-ball cricket. Arjun, who made his debut in T20 cricket for Mumbai in 2021, has so far taken 51 wickets in 41 white-ball matches. This left-arm fast bowler has taken 24 wickets in 17 List A matches, while he has 27 wickets in 24 T20 matches.

In the recently held IPL 2025 mega auction, Mumbai Indians (MI) again included Arjun Tendulkar in their team. Arjun is going to be a part of Mumbai Indians for the fifth consecutive season. Although MI had released him before the auction, they re-signed Arjun at the last moment. Arjun made his debut in IPL in 2023 and so far in this T20 league, he has played 5 matches and taken 3 wickets.

Arjun's domestic cricket career

Arjun took part in junior cricket in Mumbai before making a place in the Indian Under-19 team. He made his debut for the senior Mumbai team in the 2020/21 season. He joined the Goa team before the 2022/23 season. On his first class debut, he performed brilliantly and scored a century. Arjun has so far taken 37 wickets and 532 runs in 17 first class matches.
