New Delhi: Arjun Tendulkar has been shortlisted for the IPL 2025 mega-auction after being released by Mumbai Indians. The left-arm pacer, who has been part of the IPL for four seasons, has set his base price at Rs 30 lakh. The BCCI has increased the minimum base price for the upcoming auction.

Arjun Tendulkar began his IPL journey in 2021 with Mumbai Indians, having been bought at his base price of Rs 20 lakh. Prior to that, he had traveled to the UAE in 2020 as a net bowler for MI. He has now entered the IPL 2025 mega-auction with a base price of Rs 30 lakh, after being released by the franchise.

Arjun Tendulkar was re-signed by Mumbai Indians for Rs 30 lakh during the IPL 2022 mega-auction. In the 2023 season, he made his long-awaited IPL debut. Gujarat Titans (GT) made a single bid for the left-arm pacer during the auction. Arjun has now entered the IPL 2025 mega-auction after being released by MI, with a base price set at Rs 30 lakh.

Arjun Tendulkar played four matches for Mumbai Indians in IPL 2023, but in the subsequent season, he featured in just one game. MI still has one Right to Match card remaining, which must be used on an uncapped player during the IPL 2025 mega-auction.

Arjun Tendulkar is in good form heading into the IPL 2025 mega-auction, performing consistently for Goa in the Ranji Trophy. Although he isn’t expected to fetch a high bid, he is likely to attract a couple of offers due to his recent form and potential.

Mumbai Indians have retained five key players for IPL 2025, with Jasprit Bumrah being their top pick at Rs 18 crore. Alongside him, Hardik Pandya, Rohit Sharma, Tilak Varma, and Suryakumar Yadav also made the cut for the franchise, ensuring the core remains intact for the upcoming season.

Despite Mumbai Indians’ disappointing performance in IPL 2024, where they finished last, the franchise’s management has confirmed that Hardik Pandya will continue as captain for IPL 2025. The team has retained its core group, including key players like Jasprit Bumrah, Rohit Sharma, Tilak Varma, and Suryakumar Yadav.
