OLA CEO Bhavish Aggarwal’s troubles increase! Arrest warrant issued, know in which case Ola owner is trapped
Bhavish Aggarwal Arrest Warrant News: The troubles of Ola Electric, the country’s leading electric two-wheeler manufacturer, are showing no signs of abating. Another fresh case has come to light against the company’s CEO and founder Bhavish Aggarwal, who is still battling the fire in his electric scooters. Goa’s Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission has taken a tough stand in a case related to Ola Electric and issued an arrest warrant.
This case is related to the complaint of Pritish Chandrakant Ghadi, in which he has alleged that the electric bike purchased by him was given to Ola for repair, but now there is no trace of it. The surprising thing is that the full price of the bike had already been paid to Ola, yet the user neither received the bike nor any satisfactory answer.
What is the whole matter?
In this case, complainant Pritish Chandrakant Ghadi told that he had purchased an electric bike from Ola Electric Technology Private Limited. After some time, technical problems started appearing in the bike. After which he handed over the bike to Ola for repairing. Even after a long time, the bike was neither returned properly nor was the company able to tell where the bike is at present.
Company accused of negligence
The Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission of Goa, in its order issued on February 4, 2026, said that Ola has adopted a very careless attitude after charging the full price from the consumer. The Commission considered that the company’s behavior towards the consumer was irresponsible and indifferent. For this reason, the Commission directed Bhavish Aggarwal, CEO and Founder of Ola Electric, to appear in person, so that he can give clear information about the bike and also explain why the bike was not repaired and delivered so late.
Arrest warrant for failure to appear
When Bhavish Aggarwal did not appear despite the order of the Commission, the Commission took strict action and directed the Bengaluru Police to issue a bailable warrant against him. As per the order, a bailable warrant amounting to Rs 1,47,499 has been issued with one surety. This warrant has been asked to be served through the concerned police station at the address located in Koramangala, Bengaluru.
