Former Prime Minister of Nepal Oli (KP Oli Arrested) was arrested from his home in the early hours. Balendra Shah took oath as Prime Minister last Friday. Oli was arrested within 24 hours of his swearing-in. Arrested Nepal’s former home minister Ramesh Ukar.

In September last year, Oli fled the Prime Minister’s post due to the Jane Zee movement. Then the former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the country Sushila Karki was sworn in as the Prime Minister of the interim government. Finally, on March 5, the national election was held in Nepal. 65 political parties participated in the polls in 165 constituencies. Political analysts doubted a single party’s majority in this election. No one could have imagined that the newly-formed Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) led by former rapper Balendra Shah would emerge as the front-runner in the parliamentary elections. But that’s what happens. Because Balendra Shah was the favorite of a large part of Gen G in Nepal. RSP came to power in Nepal with almost two-thirds majority. 35-year-old Balendra is the youngest Prime Minister of Nepal. Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Balendra after his swearing-in on Friday. He gave a message to take forward the long friendly relations between India and Nepal. And the former Prime Minister of Nepal Oli was arrested within 24 hours of sitting on Balendra Kursi. Ramesh Sukhari was also arrested from his house. The charges brought against them, if proved, can carry a maximum sentence of ten years in prison.

A high-level commission was formed to investigate the violence in Nepal. And the verdict of that commission was that 74-year-old Oli had failed to stop the shooting. As a result, at least 19 fresh lives were lost. Although unwilling to accept the report of the commission, Oli says that the Balendra police arrested him out of revenge. However, the new administration in Nepal dismissed the theory of revenge. Meanwhile, it is known that after Oli, Ramesh, the former police officer of Nepal Chandra Kuber Khapung may be arrested. Many more government officials may also be arrested.
