Arshad Nadeem performs his first Umrah

Pakistani young athlete Arshad Nadeem, the gold medalist for Pakistan by winning at a record-breaking level of performance at Paris Olympics, recently performed Umrah. He published an Instagram post, where it is seen near Kaaba he is in state Ihram along with holding one prayer bead, expressing gratitude to Allah by posting pictures for his blessed and spiritual first time Umrah.

He expressed his joy, saying, “Performed my first Umrah, Alhamdulillah, for this blessed opportunity. Prayed for the entire Muslim Ummah and my beloved homeland. I am deeply grateful to Allah for making this possible.” Athlete is getting highly valued congratulations messages from high-level officials, social media users, and fans over his first Umrah.

Arshad Nadeem was born on 2 January 1997 in a small town near Mian Channu, Punjab, Pakistan. He is the third among seven siblings. His father, Muhammad Ashraf, works as a laborer. First, he had a passion for cricket, but his family forced him to abstain from the game. Afterwards, he got into athletics and selected javelin throwing as his profession.

On August 8, 2024, Arshad made history by winning a first-ever gold medal for Pakistan in the 2024 Olympics. Throwing a remarkable 92.97 meters in the javelin final, he also went on to break the record made in 2008. His historic win brings several valuable gifts in his honor.

Remember that the Athletics Federation of Pakistan has decided to hire a foreign coach for the training of athletes including Javlin Throw gold medalist Arshad Nadeem.

The meeting held in Islamabad was attended by representatives of a large number of units affiliated to the Athletics Federation of Pakistan, including provinces and departments.

On this occasion, Arshad Nadeem, who won gold medal for Pakistan in Paris Olympics, was felicitated and it was decided that Arshad Nadeem, Yasir and Shajar Abbas will be trained as international quality coaches for future competitions
