Chief Minister’s swearing-in ceremony in Bihar on Thursday

  • Samrat becomes leader of BJP legislature party, Vijay will be deputy leader

Patna. The administration has issued a comprehensive traffic plan regarding the swearing-in ceremony of the Chief Minister to be held on Thursday at Gandhi Maidan in Patna, the capital of Bihar. In view of the crowd and security, there will be a ban on operation of normal vehicles on many major routes from 8 am to 3 pm on Thursday. Only fire brigade, ambulance, patient transport and hearse are exempted. Gandhi Maidan has been declared a completely safe area as the venue of the event. For this, vehicular movement from Bhattacharya Chowk towards North Gandhi Maidan will be closed.

Vehicles coming from Dakbungla intersection will be diverted towards Rajendra Path via New Dakbungla and Bhattacharya turn. Entry into SP Verma Road from New Dak Bungalow will be completely restricted. Vehicular movement has also been stopped around Police Line Tiraha, Ramgulam Chowk, JP Golambar and Children Park. There will be a complete ban on all types of vehicles, carts, kiosks and parking inside and outside Gandhi Maidan. On the other hand, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has been elected the leader of the Janata Dal United (JDU) legislative party.

Nitish Kumar was unanimously elected leader of the legislative party in the meeting of newly elected JDU MLAs held at 1, Anne Marg, the official residence of the Chief Minister. According to sources, on this occasion, Mr. Kumar shared his memories related to the success of JDU during the elections and expressed gratitude towards the people of the state. On the other hand, the BJP Legislature Party meeting is also going on today, after which the leader and future Chief Ministerial candidate will be selected in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Legislature Party meeting. The leaders of the NDA legislature party will meet the Governor and stake claim to form the government. On November 20, the swearing-in ceremony of the Chief Minister and his cabinet will be held at Gandhi Maidan.

On the other hand, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has been elected the leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) legislature party and Vijay Kumar Sinha has been elected as the deputy leader. Chaudhary was unanimously elected leader of the legislature party in the meeting of newly elected BJP MLAs held on Wednesday. Senior BJP leader and Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sinha will be the party’s deputy leader in the House. This was announced by Central Observer and Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya after today’s meeting of the BJP Legislature Party. He told that both the leaders were elected unanimously. After this election, both the leaders thanked the MLAs present and expressed their confidence in the top leadership.
