Two criminals who robbed a jewelery shop were caught by the police.

Manak Chowk police station, taking action, arrested two miscreants in connection with the robbery in a jewelery shop on the night of 19 November and recovered 48 kg of silver and 170 grams of gold jewelery from them. At present the accused are being interrogated. Deputy Commissioner of Police, Jaipur (North) Karan Sharma said that the Manak Chowk police station took action and arrested the accused Akram (24) and Hitesh Prajapat alias Sanju (22) in the case of robbery in a jewelery shop on the night of 19 November. Both the accused are residents of Jaisinghpur Khor, Jaipur. From whom 170 grams of gold and 48 kg of silver, which were looted on the night of November 19 from Gajanand Jewelers located in Siddhi Vinayak Complex, Johri Bazaar, were recovered. During police interrogation, the accused have confessed to two other incidents of robbery of Rs 20 lakh in Nakbajni and a jewelery shop in Jaisingh Pura Khor, Jaipur. Both the accused are habitual criminals. Many cases of theft, robbery, assault etc. have already been registered against them. In this case, two accused, Tohid son of Tonk, Khurshid Ali and Ashfaq son of Kamruddin, resident of Tonk, are absconding. Whom the police team is searching for.

Deputy Commissioner of Police, Jaipur (North) said that the miscreants had done recce before the incident and more than two hundred CCTV footage of the incident site and surrounding areas were analyzed. The movement route of the criminals was marked and then the police caught both the miscreants. It is noteworthy that on the night of 19th November, masked miscreants broke into Gajanand Jewelers located at Siddhi Vinayak Complex, Johari Bazar in Manak Chowk police station area, broke the lock and stole jewelery worth lakhs of rupees. During this time, when the security guards came, they tied their hands and feet and looted 170 grams of gold and 48 kg of silver and ran away.
