Mumbai . State Common Entrance Examination (CET) Cell has decided to conduct a single entrance examination (CET) for admission to Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) and BBA- BCA- BMS- BBM courses. This exam will be held between 28th to 30th April.
CET Cell has also changed the name of CET to be conducted for these courses. From now on this exam will be named as ‘MAH-BHMCT/BCA/BBA/BMS/BBM-CET’. Till now there were two separate entrance exams for four courses BHMCT and BBA- BCA- BMS- BBM. The entrance qualification for these courses is the same, hence CET Cell has decided to conduct a single exam for the students. CET Cell has said in a statement that conducting a single CET for these courses will be easier and beneficial for the students. Conducting a single exam will reduce students’ confusion, preparation stress and exam administration costs.
120 minutes have been fixed for ‘MAH-BHMCT/BCA/BBA/BMS/BBM-CET 2026’. The detailed syllabus of the exam has been published on the website of CET Cell. Students, parents and educational institutions have been appealed to pay attention to this change. According to the probable schedule revealed by CET Cell a few days ago, the entrance exam for these courses will be held between 28 to 30 April 2026.
