New Delhi . Mixed signals are being received from the global market today. US markets managed to close with slight gains after trading under pressure during the previous session. Dow Johns Futures also seems to be trading with a slight rise today. There was a buying environment in the European markets during the last session. At the same time, mixed trading is taking place in Asian markets today.
Before the arrival of inflation data in America, investors were seen trading cautiously during the last session. Due to which the Wall Street indices closed with a slight rise. The S&P 500 index closed at 6,857.12 points with a rise of 0.11 percent. Similarly, Nasdaq ended the last session’s trading at the level of 23,484.15 points with a strength of 0.13 percent. Dow Johns Futures is currently seen trading at the level of 47,889.50 with a gain of 0.08 percent.
Buying continued in European markets during the previous session. The FTSE index closed at 9,710.87 points with a rise of 0.19 percent. Similarly, the CAC index ended the last session’s trading at the level of 8,122.03 points with a gain of 0.43 percent. Apart from this, DAX index closed at the level of 23,882.03 points with a gain of 0.79 percent.
Mixed trading is taking place in Asian markets today. Out of 9 markets in Asia, the indices of 5 are trading in the red with a decline, while 3 indices remain firmly in the green. Due to the holiday on the Stock Exchange of Thailand, there is no trading in the SET Composite Index today. The Kospi index is trading at the level of 4,068.27 points with a rise of 0.99 percent. Similarly, Jakarta Composite Index has strengthened by 0.17 percent to the level of 8,655.27 points and Shanghai Composite Index has reached the level of 3,878.99 points with a gain of 0.08 percent.
On the other hand, GIFT Nifty is trading at the level of 26,173 points with a weakness of 0.06 percent. Similarly, the Straits Times Index declined by 0.37 percent and reached the level of 4,518.37 points. There is a big decline in Nikkei index today. At present this index has fallen by 678.42 points or 1.33 percent to the level of 50,350 points. Apart from this, Hang Seng Index fell by 0.20 percent and is trading at the level of 25,884 points and Taiwan Weighted Index is trading at the level of 27,787.73 points with a nominal weakness of 0.03 percent.
