Udaipur. Such a painful incident came to light late on Friday night in Jahatphala, Ghodasar of Semari police station area of Salumber district which put the entire area in panic. Other members of the family had gone to satsang, during which 65-year-old white wife Dhanna Kalasua, who was left alone at home, and her five-year-old grandson Suresh were brutally murdered by unknown assailants. The attackers committed the crime by cutting the legs of both of them and slitting their throats. Innocent Suresh is said to be the son of the daughter of the deceased. According to the information, at around 11 pm the neighbor heard unusual and suspicious sounds coming from the house. When he reached the spot, he was shocked to see the scene inside. He immediately informed Sarpanch Raju. The Sarpanch immediately informed the Semari police station about the incident. As soon as the information was received, the police team reached the spot and inspected the entire incident site closely.
The police have kept both the bodies in the mortuary of Semari Hospital. As soon as the information about the incident spread, an atmosphere of anger and fear was created among the villagers. This murder of an elderly woman and an innocent child has created a sensation in the area. Police station in-charge Gopal Krishna said that the nature of the murder is very serious and cruel. In the preliminary investigation, the possibility of robbery, old enmity or any other reason cannot be ruled out. Police are interrogating technical evidence, mobile location and people who come under suspicion. Forensic team has also been called to collect important evidence from the spot. The villagers have demanded strict action from the police by arresting the criminals as soon as possible. At present, the police is engaged in a thorough investigation of the case from every angle.
