Apart from this, due to snowfall, Kashmir Valley and valleys of Himachal, deserts of Rajasthan, plains of North including Punjab, Haryana, Delhi are all getting cold. The temperature is low in all these areas. These winds from three sides are cooling the entire Madhya Pradesh including Bhopal. There is an alert of cold wave in Madhya Pradesh for the next 2 days. Cold wave will prevail in Bhopal, Indore, Vidisha, Rajgarh, Shajapur and Sehore on Wednesday and Thursday. Earlier on Tuesday, the night temperature in Bhopal was 7.2 degrees Celsius. The lowest temperature in the state was recorded at Kalyanpur in Shahdol at 4.7 degrees. At the same time, the mercury remained less than 10 degrees in 25 cities including Indore.

Earlier, due to severe cold on Monday-Tuesday night, the night temperature dropped in many cities of MP. On Tuesday morning, dew drops froze on the crops in Raisen and the mercury reached 5 degrees in Pachmarhi. Steam was also seen rising from the water of the lake here. The temperature was 7.2 degrees in Bhopal, 6.1 degrees in Indore, 9 degrees in Gwalior, 9.5 degrees in Ujjain and 8.5 degrees Celsius in Jabalpur. On Monday-Tuesday night, it was 5.6 degrees in Rajgarh, 6 degrees in Naugaon, 6.4 degrees in Umaria, 7.5 degrees in Rewa, 7.6 degrees in Malajkhand, 8.6 degrees in Betul, 8 degrees in Raisen, Shivpuri-Mandla, 9 degrees in Datia-Khajuraho, 9.2 degrees in Damoh, Narsinghpur-Satna, 9.6 in Chhindwara. degrees, a temperature of 9.8 degrees Celsius was recorded in Sidhi-Tikamgarh.
