Arpita won in carrom, Sakina won in badminton, HMA Inter College stood first in Kabaddi.

settlement – Late on Friday in the premises of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Group of Institutions Basdeva Kunwar Amari Bazaar. A sports competition was organized on the occasion of the death anniversary of Haji Mohammad Amin. The competition was inaugurated by Cow Seva Commission status minister Mahesh Shukla and former principal of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan MD Ojha. The competition concluded with the distribution of prizes by special guest Harraiya Nagar Panchayat President Kaushalendra Pratap Singh Raju and former chief Yogendra Singh.

The guests were welcomed with robes, mementos, wreaths and badges under the leadership of Managing Director of the Institute Mohammad Shahzad. The chief guest was welcomed by the scout team with music and enthusiasm by playing melodious tunes from the band, drums and other musical instruments. The chief guest said that it is important for parents to teach their children moral values, self-confidence and how to deal with adverse situations. Said that there is no dearth of sports talents among the children, rather they do not get the right platform, facilities and guidance, due to which these talents get suppressed, sports help in physical, mental and social development of children, increase their self-confidence and develop life skills, hence such competitions should be held regularly in schools so that these hidden talents can shine. In the badminton competition, Sakina of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam B.Sc Nursing stood first and Shreni of HMA Inter College stood second. In Carrom, Arpita and Palak of B.Sc Nursing stood first and second respectively.

Shalu Patel and Anupriya Kushwaha of B.Sc Nursing stood first and second respectively in rope jumping. Mohd. of HMA Inter College in Javelin Throw. Irfan stood first and Piyush Pandey of Pharmacy College stood second. Mohd. in 100 meter race. Armaan Ansari stood first and Anurag stood second. In the Kho-Kho girls category, HMA Inter College was the winner and B.Sc Nursing was the runner-up. HMA Inter College was the winner in Kabaddi boys category. The sports competition was conducted under the direction of sports teacher Prabhakar Ranjan Ojha. Mohammad Jamal, Amitesh Singh, Amit Yadav, Vivek Srivastava, Ramesh Chandra Gupta, Deepak Singh, Sunil Kumar, Ram Singh played the role of referee. The competition was conducted by sports teacher Ajay Kumar Verma.

On this occasion, Minority Morcha President Alam Chaudhary, Diwakar Ranjan Ojha, Ramsagar, Abdul Rab, Mohan Singh, Vineet Mishra, KN Verma, Mohammad Shamshad, Ravish Kumar Mishra, Vivek Kant Pandey, Manoj Mishra, Gaurav Singh, Rakesh Singh, Avinash Srivastava etc. were present.
