Pressure on stock market, decline in Sensex and Nifty in early trading
New Delhi. There seems to be pressure in the domestic stock market during early trading today. Today’s trading also started with a decline. After the market opened, there was a slight improvement in the movement of both the Sensex and Nifty indices due to the support of buying, but after some time both these indices started falling due to selling pressure. After the first hour of trading, Sensex was trading with a weakness of 0.55 percent and Nifty with a weakness of 0.53 percent.
After the first one hour of trading, among the big stocks of the stock market, shares of Tata Consumer Products, Titan Company, Bharti Airtel, Asian Paints and SBI Life Insurance were trading with a strength of 1.30 percent to 0.62 percent. On the other hand, shares of Axis Bank, Eternal, Tata Steel, HCL Technology and Jio Financial were seen trading with a weakness of 3.84 per cent to 1.04 per cent.
In the current trading, there was active trading in 2,491 shares in the stock market. Of these, 891 shares were trading in the green after earning profits, while 1,600 shares were trading in the red after incurring losses. Similarly, out of 30 shares included in Sensex, 7 shares remained in the green with the support of buying. On the other hand, 23 shares were trading in the red due to selling pressure. Whereas out of 50 shares included in Nifty, 12 shares were seen trading in green mark and 38 shares were seen trading in red mark.
BSE Sensex opened today with a weakness of 187.75 points at the level of 85,025.61 points. As soon as the trading started, with the support of buying, this index jumped to the level of 85,059.96 points, but after some time, selling pressure was created in the market, due to which the decline of this index kept increasing. After the first one hour of trading amidst continuous buying and selling in the market, at 10:15 am the Sensex fell by 466.13 points and was trading at the level of 84,747.23 points.
Like the Sensex, NSE’s Nifty today started trading at 25,951.50 points, falling 75.80 points. After the market opened, this index jumped to 25,980.75 points with the support of buying, but after this there was selling pressure in the market. Due to continuous selling, the weakness of this index also increased. After the initial one-hour trading between buying and selling in the market, at 10:15 am Nifty was trading at the level of 25,889.70 points with a fall of 137.60 points.
Before this, on the last trading day on Monday, the Sensex had closed at the level of 85,213.36 points with a weakness of 54.30 points or 0.06 percent. At the same time, Nifty ended Monday’s trading at the level of 26,027.30 points with a decline of 19.65 points or 0.08 percent.
