Raipur. At midnight in Baijnathpara area under Kotwali police station area of Raipur, a speeding Scorpio vehicle went out of control and hit several vehicles. Youth Congress State Secretary Rahul Thakur was driving the vehicle. The entire incident was captured in the CCTV cameras installed nearby.
According to eyewitnesses, the Scorpio was at very high speed. Many people had a narrow escape from the sudden collision. After this, people caught the accused and beat him. After the beating, the accused fled from the spot in his car, but after some time he returned with a pistol.
After this, the police reached the spot and took Rahul Thakur and Paras Wadhwa into custody. After this incident, the local residents became angry and reached the Kotwali police station. The entire scene of the incident has been captured in the CCTV cameras installed nearby, in which the vehicle going out of control and hitting here and there can be clearly seen. Local people have demanded strict action against the accused.
