34 Naxalites surrender in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh

Bijapur/Raipur. Security forces have achieved great success in Chhattisgarh. Once again a large number of Naxalites surrendered before the police officials on Tuesday, 34 Naxalites. Of these, a total reward of Rs 84 lakh was declared on 25 Naxalites.

Bijapur District Superintendent of Police Dr. Jitendra Yadav said that influenced by the government’s important scheme Poona Margame and Rehabilitation Policy, 34 Naxalites have surrendered today. The surrendered Naxalites include 7 women and 27 men. He told that there was a reward of Rs 8 lakh each on five Naxalites, while a reward of Rs 5 lakh each was declared on three Naxalites. Apart from this, a reward of Rs 2 lakh each was kept on ten Naxalites and Rs 1 lakh each was kept on seven Naxalites. These include members and commanders of Keralapal Area Committee, PLGA and militia. DRG, District Force, STS, Cobra, CRPF forces have made special contribution in this important process of surrender.
