The places searched included the company’s outlets and the homes of its promoters. These raids started on Wednesday. Advocate Prashant Patil said, ‘On behalf of my client Mrs. Shilpa Shetty Kundra, I confirm that there has been no income tax raid of any kind against my client. A routine verification is being conducted by the Income Tax authorities regarding the follow-up of my client Mrs. Shilpa Shetty Kundra. Whoever has mischievously claimed in public that these incidents have any connection with the so-called Economic Offenses Wing case will have to face legal consequences in the appropriate court. My client Mrs. Shilpa Shetty Kundra says that there has been no income tax raid in her place. Shilpa Shetty has dismissed these allegations as baseless.
