Stock market opened in the red, Sensex fell by 201.33 points.

New Delhi. The stock market opened on the red mark on Tuesday, the second trading day of the week. There is a decline in both the major market indices Sensex and Nifty. At present, the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensex is down by 201.33 points or 0.24 percent and is trending at the level of 85,366.15. At the same time, Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) is trading at the level of 26,126.95 with a decline of 45.45 points or 0.17 percent.

Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 19 are showing a rise, while 11 are declining. Along with this, a decline is being seen in IT and Pharma shares. At the same time, there is buying in banking and metal shares. Apart from this, KSH International’s IPO will be listed in the market today.

Apart from this, in the Asian market, Korea’s Kospi is trading up 0.45 percent at 4,124 and Japan’s Nikkei index is trading up 0.079 percent at 50,442. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index was up 0.29 per cent at 25,877 and China’s Shanghai Composite index was up 0.34 per cent at 3,930.

It is noteworthy that a day ago, BSE Sensex closed at 85,567.48 with a jump of 638.12 points or 0.75 percent. At the same time, Nifty of National Stock Exchange NSE rose 206 points or 0.79 percent and closed at the level of 26,172.40.
