Under the College Chalo campaign, girl students were motivated for higher education.

Rajgarh. Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Government College organized a special program for the girl students of PM Shri Kanya Higher Secondary School under the College Chalo campaign on Wednesday. The objective of the program was to make the girl students aware about higher education after 12th and to give information about the college admission process.

College Principal Dr. Addressing the program, RK Gupta said that higher education is not just a means of getting a job, but it is a strong foundation of self-reliance and personality development. He asked the girl students to choose the subject as per their interest and ability and complete the admission process on time. Admission Nodal Officer Prof. Arvind Bhardwaj gave detailed information to the girl students about the online admission process. He told that during the application, mistakes like choosing wrong subject, not uploading the documents properly and not paying attention to the deadline are often seen, and he gave practical suggestions to avoid this. In the program Prof. Hemant Sharma, Dr. Urmila Waskel and Manish Jhala gave information about the activities related to undergraduate and postgraduate courses, scholarship scheme, NCC, NSS, career guidance and personality development conducted in the college. During the programme, the students raised their questions, which were answered satisfactorily by the experts. The program was conducted by Lokesh Namdev, while the vote of thanks was expressed by DK Majhwar. About 150 girl students of the school were present on this occasion. The successful organization of the program increased the awareness and confidence of the girl students regarding higher education.
