Prime Minister Modi will be in Lucknow today and will inaugurate Rashtra Prerna Sthal
New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has two important programs today. He will join the Sansad Sports Festival virtually in the morning. After this, in the afternoon he will inaugurate the Rashtra Prerna Sthal in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. According to the official release, Prime Minister Modi will visit Uttar Pradesh today on the occasion of the 101st birth anniversary of former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The Prime Minister will inaugurate the Rashtra Prerna Sthal in Lucknow to honor the life and ideals of Vajpayee.
The Rashtra Prerna Sthal houses 65-feet tall bronze statues of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Rashtra Prerna Sthal will be inaugurated at 2:30 pm. On this occasion, Prime Minister Modi will also address a public meeting.
The vision of Rashtra Prerna Sthal is of Prime Minister Modi. It has been built to honor the legacy of great personalities of independent India. It has been developed as a historic national monument and inspirational complex of enduring national importance. Built at a cost of approximately Rs 230 crore and spread over a vast area of 65 acres, this complex is envisioned as a permanent national asset. It will be dedicated to the nation to promote leadership values, national service, cultural consciousness and public inspiration.
It also has a state-of-the-art museum. It is built in the shape of a lotus flower, spread over approximately 98,000 square feet. The museum showcases India’s national journey and the contributions of these visionary leaders through advanced digital and immersive technology, providing an engaging and educational experience to visitors.
The inauguration of Rashtra Prerna Sthal is an important step towards preserving and promoting the ideals of selfless leadership and good governance. It will become a source of inspiration for the present and future generations. Before this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the Parliament Sports Festival through video conferencing at 11 am.
