Motorcycle collides with parked truck in Ambikapur late night, one dead
Balrampur. The Ring Road of Ambikapur city has once again proved fatal. Where in Namanakala area, a speeding motorcycle collided with a truck parked on the roadside, due to which one youth died on the spot, while another youth was seriously injured. The accident happened last night.
According to the information received from Ketwali police, at around 9 pm on Thursday night, two youths riding motorcycle number CG 15 DY 2151 were going from Gandhi Chowk in the direction of the bus stand. The motorcycle collided with a truck parked on the roadside in front of Goodluck Motors located at Namanakala. In the accident, a youth riding a motorcycle died on the spot, while another youth got seriously injured and fell on the road. According to eyewitnesses, the speed of the motorcycle was high and due to darkness on the road, the parked truck was not visible. After the accident, the truck driver fled from the spot with the vehicle. As soon as the information was received, the Kotwali police station reached the spot and sent the injured to the hospital. The injured youth has been admitted to Ambikapur Medical College Hospital, where his condition remains critical. Both the deceased and the injured could not be identified till the time of writing the news. It is noteworthy that despite the parking of heavy vehicles being banned on the Ring Road, trucks and tractors are parked daily. In Namanakala area, accidents are happening continuously due to vehicles parked on the road in front of tractor agencies, but claims to improve the system are not visible at the ground level.
