Pressure on stock market, Sensex and Nifty fell in early trading today.
New Delhi. A declining trend is visible in the domestic stock market during early trading today. Today’s trading started on a strong note. After the market opened, the movement of both Sensex and Nifty indices also increased due to the support of buying. However, this boom could not be sustainable. After a while, selling pressure built up, due to which both the indices dived into the red. After trading till 10 am, Sensex was trading with a weakness of 0.29 percent and Nifty 0.32 percent.
After trading till 10 am, among the big stocks of the stock market, shares of ONGC, Hindalco Industries, State Bank of India, Tech Mahindra and Bharat Electronics were trading with a strength of 2.11 percent to 0.19 percent. On the other hand, shares of Larsen & Toubro, HCL Technology, Trent Limited, Reliance Industries and Dr Reddy’s Laboratories were seen trading with a fall of 2.39 per cent to 1.20 per cent.
In the current trading, there was active trading in 2,561 shares in the stock market. Of these, 1,593 shares were trading in the green after earning profits, while 968 shares were trading in the red after incurring losses. Similarly, out of 30 shares included in Sensex, 5 shares remained in the green with the support of buying. On the other hand, 25 shares were trading in the red due to selling pressure. Whereas out of 50 shares included in Nifty, 12 shares were seen trading in green mark and 38 shares were seen trading in red mark.
BSE Sensex opened today at 84,079.32 points with a gain of 201.15 points. As soon as trading started, this index jumped to the level of 84,258.03 points with the support of buying. After this, selling started in the market, due to which the index dived into the red. Due to continuous selling in the market, this index fell to the level of 83,578.56 points. After the trading till 10 am amid continuous buying and selling in the market, Sensex was trading at the level of 83,633.73 points with a fall of 244.44 points.
Like Sensex, NSE’s Nifty jumped 107.10 points today and started trading at 25,897.35 points. As soon as the market opened, this index rose marginally to 25,899.80 points, but after that its movement declined due to selling. Due to continuous selling, this index fell to 25,700.85 points. After continuous buying and selling in the market till 10 am, Nifty was trading at 25,707.25 points, down 83 points.
Before this, on the last trading day on Monday, the Sensex had closed at the level of 83,878.17 points with a gain of 301.93 points or 0.36 percent. At the same time, Nifty ended Monday’s trading at the level of 25,790.25 points with a rise of 106.95 points or 0.42 percent.
