Tractor-trolley and loading vehicle collide, 5 dead, 12 injured

Bhopal. Five people died, while about 12 people were injured in a collision between a tractor-trolley and a loading vehicle on Wednesday night in the Berasia area of ​​Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. All the deceased and injured were residents of Sironj in Vidisha district and were going to Hoshangabad to celebrate Makar Sankranti. The injured were admitted to the hospital.

According to the information, the accident happened in Berasia police station area on Wednesday night at around 9.30 pm. Berasia police station TI Virendra Sen said that 15 people of the same family from Sironj in Vidisha district were in the loading vehicle. Everyone was going to Narmadapuram for Sankranti bath.

As soon as his vehicle reached near Government Sandipani Thakur Lal Singh School in Berasia police station area, it collided with a tractor-trolley coming from the front. The loading vehicle was badly damaged in this. Many people traveling in it got trapped inside. The accident was so terrible that 5 people died on the spot. 12 people have been injured. Out of which 3 people riding tractor are also included. All the injured have been admitted to Berasia Government Hospital.

As soon as information about the incident was received, Berasia SDM Ashutosh Sharma, ASP Neeraj Chaurasia and Berasia TI Virendra Sen along with MLA Vishnu Khatri reached the hospital late in the night. SDM Sharma said that in the preliminary investigation, high speed is being considered as the reason for the accident. However, the real reason will become clear only after investigation.
