After hail and rain, dense fog prevails in Madhya Pradesh, warning of rain from January 31

Bhopal. There is a change in the weather of Madhya Pradesh since last two days. Due to the effect of cyclonic circulation and trough, storm, rain and hailstorm were recorded in about 60 percent of the state. Although the weather will be clear today on Thursday, there is a possibility of rain once again from January 31. The new system is also said to be very strong, which may cause rain and hailstorm.

According to the Meteorological Department, a new system is becoming active in North-West India from January 30. After a day or two, its effect will be visible in Madhya Pradesh also. In such a situation, the rains may continue even in the beginning of February. This Thursday morning, dense fog was seen in more than half the districts of the state. Fog was affected in Gwalior, Morena, Bhind, Datia, Sheopur, Shivpuri, Guna, Ashoknagar, Vidisha, Sagar, Damoh, Niwari, Chhatarpur, Panna, Katni, Satna, Maihar, Rewa, Mauganj, Sidhi, Singrauli and Shahdol districts. There was light fog in Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Sehore, Raisen, Rajgarh and Shajapur. Although the Meteorological Department has not issued any rain alert anywhere for Thursday, today there will be chill due to cold winds blowing throughout the day. This may result in a drop in day temperature, while a slight rise in night temperature is likely to provide some relief from the cold.

The Meteorological Department said that light fog may occur in the northern part of the state on January 30. There is no rain alert, but the effect of cold will increase day and night. On January 31, the weather may worsen in Gwalior, Bhind, Morena, Datia, Sheopur, Shivpuri, Guna, Ashoknagar, Vidisha, Sagar, Niwari, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Agar-Malwa, Rajgarh and Shajapur. Whereas on February 1, there is a possibility of rain and thunderstorm in many districts of the state including Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Gwalior.

Due to rain and cold wave, the minimum and maximum temperatures of the state are likely to drop by 2 to 3 degrees. In many cities the night temperature may again go below 10 degrees. However, a slight increase in temperature was recorded in the last three days. On Wednesday, the maximum temperature in Gwalior was recorded at 16.2 degrees, due to which the situation remained like a cold day. The minimum temperature at night was 15.2 degrees, which means the difference between day and night temperature was only 1.2 degrees. Apart from this, maximum temperatures were recorded at 19.7 in Datia, 20.4 in Tikamgarh, 21 in Naugaon, 21.4 in Khajuraho, 21.8 in Sheopur, 22.8 in Guna-Pachmarhi, 22.9 in Umaria, 23.3 in Bhopal, Satna and Indore, 23.6 in Damoh and 24 degrees in Ujjain and Shivpuri.
