Jaipur: The CID (CB) team of Rajasthan Police has once again shown its professional proficiency and put behind the bars a vicious criminal who was absconding for seven years. The special team of Police Headquarters has succeeded in arresting the criminal Lukman Meo, son of Usman, carrying a reward of Rs 10,000, by conducting a well-planned operation in Faridabad, Haryana.
Main accused of fraud and tractor theft:
SP Jyestha Maitrayi said that the case is of the year 2019, when accused Lukman, along with four-five of his associates, had committed a major crime in Uniara area of ​​Tonk. The accused had snatched the tractor from a person named Umaid Meena on the pretext that the finance installment was due. In this regard, a case was registered in Uniara police station under charges of fraud, preparing forged documents and conspiracy. Since the incident, Lukman was absconding in various areas of Delhi, Haryana and Mathura by hiding his identity.
CID (CB) siege and action:
A special team was formed under the supervision of Superintendent of Police Maitreyi. In the formed team, Sub Inspector Shailendra Sharma and Constable Brijesh Sharma got accurate input that the accused was hiding in Sector 28 of Faridabad and was driving a JCB to hide his identity. As soon as the information was confirmed, the team raided the spot. On seeing the police, the accused tried to run away, but the team, showing alertness, surrounded him from all sides and arrested him.
The arrested accused Lukman son of Usman is originally a resident of Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. Not only was a reward declared on him in Tonk, but a serious case was also registered under the Arms Act in Kaman police station of Bharatpur. The police was searching for him for a long time, but the vicious criminal was constantly changing his locations.
In this successful operation, along with the efficient leadership of Sub Inspector Shailendra Sharma, ASI Shankar Dayal Sharma, Head Constable Kuldeep Singh and Constables Brijesh Kumar Sharma and Naresh Kumar played a special role. The accused has been handed over to Uniara police station for further action.
