New Delhi. Indian Navy has for the first time assumed command of Multinational Combined Task Force (CTF) 154 for maritime security and capacity building in the Indian Ocean Region and beyond. This is being considered as a historic development underlining India’s commitment.
On assuming the command, the Indian Navy’s objectives include providing high-impact training initiatives and strengthening global maritime partnerships for peace, prosperity and security.
