Dehradun’s new Senior Superintendent of Police Pramendra Dobal takes charge, will strengthen women’s safety

Dehradun . Dehradun’s new Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Pramendra Dobal assumed charge. He termed strengthening the law and order of the district, strengthening women’s safety and improving the traffic system as his top priority.

In the press conference held after assuming charge, the newly appointed SSP said that an effective strategy will be prepared to prevent crimes against women and police activity will be increased in sensitive areas. He clarified that maintaining law and order is the supreme responsibility of the police and any kind of negligence in this will not be tolerated.

Regarding the traffic system, he said that concrete steps will be taken to deal with the problem of traffic jams and improve road safety. Special attention will also be given to keeping the morale of police personnel high and increasing their efficiency.

Giving a strong message to the elements trying to disturb communal harmony, the SSP said that zero tolerance policy will be adopted in such cases and strict action will be ensured against the culprits.
