Kolkata. Defending champions Mohun Bagan Super Giants made a winning start to the new season of the Indian Super League (ISL) by defeating Kerala Blasters FC 2-0. This ISL match was held at Vivekananda Yuva Bharati Kridangan in Kolkata, where the home team controlled the game most of the time.
In the first half, Mohun Bagan adopted an aggressive approach and kept the opposition defense under pressure.
