Dhamtari. A painful road accident took place near Kurmatarai in Dhamtari late on Saturday night, in which two people riding a bike were seriously injured. One of the injured, Dulesh Sahu, died during treatment, while the other elderly person is undergoing treatment in a private hospital.
According to the information received from Arjuni Police Station on Sunday, both the bike riders are said to be residents of village Kosmara. He had come to Dhamtari for some personal work and after completing the work, he was returning back to his village Kosmara. Meanwhile, a speeding car coming from behind hit his bike near Kurmatarai.
The collision was so severe that both the people fell away on the road and were seriously injured. There was chaos at the spot after the incident. Local people immediately informed the police and social organizations. As soon as the information was received, Shiva Pradhan and Aman Sahu of Vardaan Parmarth Seva Sanstha immediately reached the spot.
Showing humanity, he helped in immediately taking the injured to the hospital. Doctors declared Dulesh Sahu dead in the hospital, while the treatment of the other injured elder is going on and his condition is said to be critical. Police have registered the case and started searching for the car driver. There is an atmosphere of mourning in the area after the accident.
