Ukhimath/Rudraprayag. The doors of the eleventh Jyotirling Kedarnath Dham will be opened for the devotees for the Yatra this year on 22nd April in Taurus ascendant from 8 am onwards. Its decision was taken after the Panchang calculation in a meeting at Omkareshwar Temple, Ukhimath, the traditional winter seat on the day of Mahashivratri.
On Sunday, the date and time for opening the doors of Kedarnath Dham was decided in Omkareshwar Temple, Ukhimath in the presence of learned Acharyas, Haq-Haquk holders and officials of Badri-Kedar Temple Committee. According to tradition, Baba Kedar’s Panchmukhi Doli will leave for Kedarpuri before the scheduled date.
