Major fire in Khushkheda industrial area of Bhiwadi, painful death of seven workers.
Bhiwadi (Rajasthan). There was chaos in Khushkheda industrial area on Monday morning when a massive fire suddenly broke out in a private industrial unit. According to initial information, about seven workers died tragically in this accident, while many others sustained serious burn injuries. After the incident, there is an atmosphere of mourning and panic in the entire industrial area.
According to the information, information about the fire in plot number G-1-118 B of Khushkheda Industrial Area was given to Rico Fire Brigade through the police control room at around 9:22 am. According to eyewitnesses, the fire took a huge form within a few minutes and engulfed the entire factory. The workers working inside could not get enough chance to get out.
Initial reports said that six to seven workers died on the spot due to burns in the fire. The bodies found inside by the relief and rescue team were badly burnt. Some bodies were so charred that it was difficult to identify them. The process of identification of the dead is going on.
As soon as information about the incident was received, police, administrative officials, several fire brigade vehicles, rescue teams and medical teams reached the spot. The entire area was sealed and relief and rescue operations were conducted. According to officials, two people are still feared trapped inside. The injured were immediately admitted to the nearest hospital, where their treatment is ongoing.
The cause of the fire is not yet clearly known. Initially, there is a possibility that the fire may have broken out due to short circuit or flammable materials. The administration has hinted at a magisterial inquiry and the safety standards of the factory will also be examined.
