It is necessary for all students to appear for the first board exam.
All passed and eligible students will be allowed to improve their performance in any three subjects of Science, Maths, Social Science and Language.
If a student has not appeared in 3 or more subjects in the first exam, he will not be allowed to appear in the second exam. Such students will be kept in the “Essential Repeat” category and will be able to appear only in the main exam to be held in the month of February next year.
Students whose result of first examination is compartment, such students will be allowed to appear in the second examination under compartment category.
After passing 10th class, additional subjects will not be allowed, students will not be allowed to do stand-alone subjects.
