‘The Kerala Story 2’ will show new aspects of truth, trailer released, story of marriage and pressure

The trailer of the film ‘The Kerala Story 2 – Goes Beyond’, produced with the support of producer Vipul Amritlal Shah and his banner Sunshine Pictures, has been released. The film is a sequel to the popular film ‘The Kerala Story’ and boasts of a broader and deeper story than the first part.

The trailer begins with a cautionary dialogue, after which the story moves towards incidents taking place in states like Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Kerala. It depicts the personal tragedies of different families and young women, where issues such as alleged betrayal, forced conversion and betrayal in relationships are raised.

In one part, a family from Rajasthan reaches the police station regarding their minor daughter, while in Madhya Pradesh, the story of fraudulent marriage and pressure is shown with a girl in Madhya Pradesh.

The third dimension of the film is set in Kerala, where the conflict of identity, faith and personal freedom is shown under the pretext of an inter-religious relationship. Director Kamakhya Narayan Singh presents the story from the perspective of three young women, Ulka Gupta, Aditi Bhatia and Aishwarya Ojha, whose lives take unexpected turns due to relationships.

The producer of the film is Vipul Amritlal Shah, while Ashin A. Shah is attached as co-producer. According to the makers, ‘The Kerala Story 2 – Goes Beyond’ will be released in theaters on 27 February 2026.
