The speeding car went out of control and fell into Rajbeh on the roadside, four youths drowned.
Mathura . Four youth lost their lives in a tragic road accident late Wednesday night in Magorra police station area of Mathura district. Near Nagla Devia turn, the speeding French car went out of control and fell into Rajbeh on the roadside. The car drowned in the water-filled Rajbha, due to which the four youths traveling in it died on the spot.
The young man was going to the engagement ceremony.
According to the police, four youths of the same age from Magorra area were going by car via Govardhan to attend an engagement ceremony in Deeg, Rajasthan. Rahul (23), resident of Mohalla Baldev Garh of Mahavan town, his cousin Mohit (21), Amit (23) and another friend had left home on Wednesday evening. It was told that Amit was driving the car. As soon as the vehicle reached a sharp turn near Nagla Devia at around 9 pm, the driver could not maintain balance. The car swayed and fell straight into Rajbeh.
Villagers tried to save
Seeing the car falling into Rajbeh, nearby villagers immediately reached the spot and informed the police. The villagers tried hard to pull out the youth, but by then all four had died. Later the police took out the car with the help of a crane.
SP Rural reached the spot
As soon as information about the incident was received, SP Rural Suresh Chandra Rawat reached the spot. He said that the bodies have been sent for post-mortem and the entire process will be videographed. Orders have been given to investigate the matter. Further action will be taken based on whatever facts emerge in the investigation.
Mohit was studying law
Mohit, one of the youth who lost his life in the accident, was studying law. As soon as the news of the death of the young man who had left home to attend the engagement ceremony was received, a wave of mourning ran in the area. Family members and acquaintances are crying in distress. This heart-wrenching incident has once again reminded us of the dangers of driving at high speed and carelessly.
