Chief Secretary V. Srinivas inspected the health building

Jaipur. Chief Secretary V. Srinivas reached Swasthya Bhawan on Friday morning and inspected the main building and NHM building. Along with the inspection, he took stock of the arrangements of the office and appreciated the improvements made in the health building in the past few days.

The Chief Secretary reached Swasthya Bhawan at 9.30 am. While inspecting the main building and NHM building, he observed in detail the meeting arrangements of the personnel, cleanliness in the offices and office management arrangements. He expressed his appreciation for following the instructions given in the last inspection regarding cleanliness in the building, disposal of unusable goods, functioning and other necessary arrangements.

He also gave necessary guidelines regarding its continuous maintenance and cleaning, painting etc. During this time, Chief Government Secretary of the Medical and Health Department, Gayatri Rathore was also present and provided detailed information about the functioning etc.

The Chief Secretary first inspected the Director Public Health Wing and NHM Wing on the first floor. After this, he went to the Project Director NHM office, NHM HR wing on the second floor and observed. Rajhealth portal section and legal wing were inspected on the third wing. During the inspection, he obtained detailed information about the Human Resource Information System and other digital modules operated through the portal. He also observed the functioning of digitalization of e-service records, online leave management, posting status maintenance and other administrative processes of all health workers and officers of the state through Raj Health Portal and appreciated these innovations being made for transparency.

Encourage digital innovations:

V. Srinivas appreciated the usefulness and transparency of Raj Health Portal and underlined its important role in strengthening health services. He directed that more efficiency and transparency should be ensured in the execution of works through digital system. He stressed on encouraging digital innovations in the health sector so that the health system of the state can be made more effective.

Disposal of unusable goods:

Principal Government Secretary Gayatri Rathore said that the Medical and Health Department has completed recruitment on about 35 thousand posts in mission mode in the last two years. In these recruitments, the newly selected candidates have been posted on the basis of preference through Raj Health Portal. He said that in compliance with the instructions given during the inspection by the Chief Secretary on January 28, the unused materials and files lying in the health building have been disposed of.

Along with cleaning the corridors, more than 150 useless cupboards, more than 50 tables, chairs and racks etc. have also been disposed of. Apart from this, damaged and exposed electrical wires have been repaired. IEC material of public welfare schemes has also been displayed in the corridors of Swasthya Bhawan.

During the inspection, Mission Director NHM Dr. Amit Yadav, Additional Mission Director Dr. T. Shubhamangala, Director Public Health Dr. Ravi Prakash Sharma, Project Director NHM Priya Bhargava and other officials were also present.
