Deputy Chief Minister held a meeting with officials of Home, Revenue and Rural Development Department.
Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya on Friday held a high-level review meeting with senior officials in Assembly Room No. 77 before the proceedings of the ongoing Budget Session-2026 at Vidhan Bhawan.
In the meeting, the progress of the works of Revenue Department, Rural Development Department, Justice Department and Home Department, matters related to public interest and upcoming action plans were discussed in detail. The Deputy Chief Minister directed the officials that the priority of the government is to provide prompt, transparent and time bound services to the public.
He said that all departments should work with mutual coordination so that the benefits of government schemes reach the last person effectively. In the meeting, the Deputy Chief Minister gave instructions to the Revenue Department for timely disposal of land disputes, transfer, inheritance and online services.
The Rural Development Department was asked to keep special monitoring on the quality of rural roads, housing, toilets and livelihood schemes. Instructed the Justice Department to increase effective advocacy and coordination for speedy disposal of pending cases. Apart from this, instructions were given to the Home Department to keep law and order strong, women’s safety and regularly review sensitive areas.
He said that good governance is the hallmark of the government and negligence will not be tolerated at any level. He expected the officials to ensure immediate action on the complaints and suggestions received from public representatives during the budget session.
Senior administrative and police officers were present in the meeting. The Deputy Chief Minister stressed upon all departments to adopt result based methodology and complete the target within the stipulated time frame.
