Trump signs executive order on 10 percent global tariff
Washington. After the decision of the US Supreme Court, President Donald Trump has issued an order for 10 percent global tariff which will be implemented immediately. This duty, imposed in addition to the existing US tariff, will affect all countries including India.
After the US Supreme Court declared the recent tariffs unconstitutional, on February 21, President Trump has issued an order to impose a 10 percent global tariff on all countries. The White House has shared Trump’s post on Truth Social in which it has been told that the President has signed an executive order to impose a 10 percent global tariff on all countries and this tariff will be implemented with immediate effect.
A day earlier, the US Supreme Court declared Trump’s tariff policies unconstitutional. Trump termed it disappointing and said that his arguments were not heard properly in the Supreme Court. Trump said he did not expect such a decision.
