Uncontrollable tractor-trolley hits woman and her nephew hard, woman dies

Jaipur. On Saturday afternoon, a speeding tractor-trolley hit a woman and her nephew standing on the roadside in Harmada police station area. The woman died in the accident, while the nephew was seriously injured.

After the accident, the uncontrolled tractor-trolley rammed into a bike, breaking a vegetable cart and two electric poles. The driver fled leaving the vehicle on the spot. The police is searching for him. Police officer Uday Yadav told that Nanaki and her nephew Mukesh were waiting for the bus in front of Harmada police station.

Meanwhile, Nanaki’s sister was following her on foot due to pain in her leg. At around 12.30 pm, a speeding tractor-trolley laden with stones came from Todi Mod. While trying to save an oncoming car, the driver lost control of the vehicle and the tractor-trolley went out of control.

The uncontrollable tractor-trolley hit Nanaki and her nephew Mukesh standing on the roadside and also hit a bike and a cart. After this the vehicle stopped after breaking two electric poles. In the accident, Nanaki Devi (60), resident of Neendar Mod, died on the spot, while Mukesh Sain (28) was seriously injured.

The injured was first taken to the nearest hospital, from where he was referred to Sawai Mansingh Hospital for better treatment. It is being told that Nanaki Devi had left home to attend a wedding ceremony with her sister and nephew. The police have registered the case. The absconding driver is being searched on the basis of the registration number of the tractor.
