Rain alert again in Madhya Pradesh, possibility of rain in 7 districts
Bhopal. Rain alert has been issued in Madhya Pradesh for the fourth time in the month of February. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in a total of 7 districts including Mandla, Dindori on Monday. Also, there is a possibility of increase in temperature and the mercury may rise by 3 to 4 degrees.
Recently, due to cyclonic circulation and trough line activity, there was light rain in more than 15 districts including Bhopal, Sagar, Jabalpur, Dhar, Indore, Khandwa, Raisen, Ratlam, Ujjain during the last 24 hours. After this, it remained cloudy in Bhopal on Saturday, but there was strong sunshine during the day, due to which the temperature increased. The weather also changed and light rain occurred in Chhatarpur, Panna, Satna, Rewa and Mauganj areas.
The weather remained normal in Gwalior on Sunday, there was no significant change in the temperature. Although it was cold in the morning in Indore on Saturday, it felt warm during the day, with the temperature reaching around 31°C. There was a slight cold effect at night, the temperature dropped to 13°C. Even on Sunday, due to strong sunlight, the effect of cold was almost gone. It has rained thrice in the state so far in the month of February. In the beginning of February, there was a period of hail, rain and storm, due to which there was huge damage to the crops. After this, the rainy season started for the third time from 18th February, and now it is expected to rain for the fourth time on 23rd February.
According to the Meteorological Department, the effect of Western Disturbance has now advanced, due to which there is no possibility of continuous rain, but there may be rain in Chhindwara, Pandhurna, Seoni, Balaghat, Mandla, Dindori and Anuppur districts on Monday. The weather will be clear on February 22 and there is no rain alert.
