Stock market opens on green mark, Sensex rises 505 points, Nifty crosses 25,500

New Delhi. The stock market opened on the green mark on Wednesday, the third trading day of the week. Both the major market indices Sensex and Nifty are on the rise.

Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensex is trading at the level of 82,730.82 with a rise of 504.90 points or 0.61 percent. At the same time, Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) is trending at the level of 25,579.85 with an increase of 155.20 points or 0.61 percent.

In early trading in the stock market today, stocks like Tech Mahindra, HCL Technologies, TCS, Infosys and NTPC have registered gains in the index Nifty. At the same time, a decline was seen in the shares of Eicher Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Bharat Electronics and Coal India.

It is noteworthy that a day earlier on Tuesday, the Sensex fell by 1,068.74 points or 1.28 percent and closed at 82,225.92 points. At the same time, NSE’s Nifty fell by 228.35 points or 1.12 percent and closed at 25,424.65 points.
